"I was hired here to rebuild the mall and one of those objectives was to get rid of all the bad product in the mall," mall general manager Jack Talansky said.
Talansky is dead set on changing the mall's image. He said he's painting the outside of the building and even getting rid of the old logo and replacing it with a new one.
"Is it going to be a hard job? I don't see it as being a hard job," Talansky said.
Talansky said he plans to renovate the inside of the mall with new floors and lights.
He said he's even recently turned vendors away after he questioned the products they were selling.
"My question is, 'Are they knock-offs?' and if they are I don't let them in," Talansky said.
